Feel The Beat
A six-week curriculum based movement program for students of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) community.

Piloted in the Spring of 2022, this dynamic program served more than 20 students in the DHH program at Madison High School in Clairemont.
​
Students learned to "Feel the Beat" under the guidance of CSSD teaching artist Bex Walker who designed the program in collaboration with VAPA dance faculty and CSSD Founder Barbara Rinaldo.

Creative movement and hip hop classes are being offered to ensure dancers of all ages and abilities receive the enrichment that self expression through the arts provides.
