FEEL THE BEAT - A six-week curriculum based movement program for students of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) community.

Piloted in the Spring of 2022, this dynamic program served more than 20 students in the DHH program at Madison High School in Clairemont.

Through creative movement and play, students build body awareness, confidence, trust and social emotional skills. CSSD lead teaching artist, Bex Walker, designed the program in collaboration with VAPA dance faculty and CSSD Founder Barbara Rinaldo.

If you are interested in supporting this program (so that we can continue to offer it free of charge) or if your students would like to participate on your campus, just let us know by emailing Fiona Chatwin, CSSD Volunteer Board Member at fiona.cssd@gmail.com
